Problem with Prizm 5
« on: July 26, 2017, 11:07:03 AM »
Hi Saberworld,
I just wired my new Prizm V5 and everything was fine!
But: I tuned some saberfonts and load them on the sd card from the Prizm. Because of bad access to my sd card I broak the card
Then I bought a new one and mount it successfully. The saber started as always.
But: after a few seconds of normal sound the sound went to a scratching sound and every second a little more...
I changed the speaker and have the same problem again.
Is there a possibility to destroy the amp or something else?

Please help me...

Thank You and best regards

Benjamin

[edited]New NO amplifier damage in my opinion but breaking the card probably been to the SD card socket as well and what you hear is the card is in contact with the socket Reading to corrupted samples being read

where are you located ? I've edited my post above, phone typo (sorry). If no PCB trace was ripped off in the case the holder was lifted, the socket can be changed). I take care of repairs in the EU, and chewbacca / Michael (member here) does repairs in the USA / North america

Hi,
I think a picture make no sense, because of no visible changes on the board. I didnĀ“t make a video before I dismantled the saber . The board started normal and after a few seconds came a scratching noise which is going louder and louder. If you want I can mount the saber again and make a video... should I
