First saber built troubleshoot

I have almost completed my first build using a nano biscotti v4. The saber turns on just fine it seems, but when I try to switch sound fonts, the leds turn on but it goes mute. Any idea why this is?

That is called Mute On The Go. Hold the button longer until you get a second beep from the saber and it will go to the next font. This is covered in the manual.
