Prizm 4 constant swings when activated (no LED attached)
« on: April 22, 2017, 07:59:53 PM »
I have a Prizm 4 install that is having constant swings when activated, no powerup sound, just constant swings when activated.

* No LED is attached.
* Using bench power supply set to 3.7v (current limited to 2A).

Wiring photos below (Nothing much to see as there is only the speaker and power wires attached to anything.

Photo 2 shows resistors for LEDs (LED is NOT attached).

Corrupted / damaged SD card (wrong FAT structure plays the whole SD card as a giant power up sound)

I can probably double confirm this with a video

That bit of information about it playing all the sounds being a corrupt sound bank / SC card was the key. There was a bad powerup.wav file. Fix that file and it now works.

Thanks for the quick response!

Seems like there are a bunch of these sort of things that would be useful in a FAQ or troubleshooting guide.
