Roman Props FX kit Chassis - where to buy
« on: October 01, 2016, 07:13:31 AM »
Hi all, I'm about to purchase a Roman props A New Hope Ben Kenobi Weathered FX kit but are there any chassis available for it? Not looking for anything fancy ATM just one that will take prism or NBv3 and recharge port. Although if there's crystal chambers out there please let me know. FYI I've already spotted goths working on one ATM. Cheers again.
Built: Graflex 2.0 with Goth 3Designs Knight chassis and NBv3 X2

Current: Roman Props MK1 FX with Prizm soundcard

Dmitri of Shtok Creations recently announced that he would be coming out with a chassis for the MK1.

Cheers, are there any generic chassis that would fit in to keep everything secure? I've done a few Graflex knight installs but they were dead easy with recourses out there and the simplicity of the knight chassis. Thanks

Hi, I have my own chassis design for Roman Props MK1 in 3 versions: R-CC and MK-NB (are for use with Rudy Pando's metal crystal chamber kit) and MK-s - for use with a stock MK1 saber. R-CC and MK-NB are now available in my Shapeways shop, MK-S version is still in progress, but will be available soon.

I just installed this, had to buy a 1.3mm recharge port (still waiting on to arrive so not sure if it’ll fit into chassis), and it looks good painted up and installed and all is tight inside. This isn’t my chamber reveal saber because I did that with my static hilt so I don’t have to pull it apart.

There’s a lot to installing the above posts listed setup but if your willing to do it it should look great, especially if you use Rudy’s chamber.

Hey @ShtokyD  !  What program do you use to create your 3D designs?  The pieces look amazing!
