I have a cheap plastic toy gun that I'd like to make it look more like a "real" gun. (If star wars guns are "real" that is.) I want to keep it relatively simple, but I wanted to see what people recommend for a durable gun-black finish.

Oh allmighty trashpile (google) please answer this question for me!
Still didn't tell me what to use for the black color, but maybe that's not important.

Rust Oleum Universal Satin Black Paint & Primer in One is my "go to". It sticks to anything, has the right amount of sheen and lasts a long while. It's also easy to touch up. Krylon is another great one.
