How to attach Luke saber to ROTJ costume
« on: October 14, 2015, 10:21:22 AM »
For Halloween I got this Luke ROTJ costume - the robes he's wearing in the first half of the movie. It has a cloth belt (more like a cummerbund) and no obvious place to attach a saber. He does attach it in the movie, when he jumps onto Jabba's sail barge.

Any great ideas how to attach the D-ring to this costume, and half it be relatively easy to remove and re-attach?

You could try a belt underneath. Attached a J hook (commonly used with gun holsters) to the belt. Have the hook come over the top of the cloth belt and drop over it. This would leave a small hook for you to put the saber.

I use one of these for my D-ring sabers.

Helpful for me also, Thanks! and you should post some pics of you're full costume when you get it all ready.
