Our first two "Starkiller" runs were of the in game hilt for the First game: The Force unleashed.

This saber is from the concept trailer for The Force Unleashed 2. Different saber, but really cool and is requested more than the in game hilt for TFU II.

That's what I thought but I wasn't 100% sure thanks for clearing that up Starkiller ;P

Since I must have forgotten to list it in the OP, and I got asked: The Crystal Focus version is expected to be '7' but will be whatever version is current at the time of machining completion (2nd deposit), and will INCLUDE the CeX board for perfect, regulated color mixing ^-^

Am I missing something? A big group is selecting the trailer version with black anodizing and I'm thinking I'm not seeing what I should, lol.

The pictures posted show the differences.  There were a few concept art pieces released that show the hilts with no black anodized parts but with a black leather wrap.

Then the TUFII trailer videos that were released show more detail with black anodized parts and brown leather wrap on the hilts.  So its personal preference as to which you want.  It will look awesome no matter which is chosen.

Will choosing a Prizm build over the CF build effect any of the features in the Crystal Chamber?

If not, I am dowm for a Prizm / Trailer / Black leather / 30" bullet tip

With PRIZM, you will lose the pulsing crystal chamber.....which I know you like ;) We haven't fleshed out the entirety of the crystal chamber lighting yet, but the CF is capable of having more blinkies and we do plan on using as much of them as possible.

Well....Crystal Focus seems to be the choice board 8). We've decided to make the last 5 spots 'either or'. Anyone wanting one of the last spots can choose PRIZM or Crystal Focus.

When you are shelling out this much on a saber it makes sense to go with the CF option. A $200 upgrade to a CF is a steal when you consider the price of the board, CEx and the install fees that are typical for a CF. Thats a $400+ value for $200. Its really like getting a CFv7 CEX color-changing upgrade + tuning and color configs for half off, all things considered. Also, the recent advances in tech have pushed the CFv7 quite a bit further away from a board like PRIZM. 12 fonts, combos, spins, stabs... there is just so much more to get out of a CF that it makes sense given the price!

Furthermore, this is a really exclusive hilt. I would only want the best electronics in mine. PRIZM is awesome, but I don't think I would pay $1400 for a saber with a color-changing PC when I could get top of the line sound with considerably more fonts/features for $200 more. Going with CF just makes the most sense with these numbers and with a run of this calibre, IMO. If I was able to get in then I would sock away $25 extra a month and that would pay for the CF trim level by the time final payment is due. I can see the affordability of saving $400 on a pair, but at the same time is $400 that hefty when you are committing to spending almost $3000 on a pair of these hilts?

Just food for thought :) I am sure that people will be more than happy with both board options when all is said and done. These are going to be really cool to see, congrats to everyone in so far and good luck to VV over the course of the run!
