3AAA Battery Holder I use in my PVC builds for use with soundboards or buckpucks.  Scratch and use flux to Pre-solder the terminals.  Solder wires to terminals, and don't overheat.  I build mine in assembly line fashion.  Thin-wall blade stock slides over these beautifully to act as retention for your batteries.

Not a problem. Thanks for taking the time to compile this list into one spot. I already had most of these links saved, but this will be a major time saver for people in the future.

I commonly look for these things too. Even I have a bookmark to my own thread now. It would be great to get Crees on here.. (but only the brightest ones)

I have never bought any Crees from a site, only from other members.
I'm sure somebody will chime in with some links to some bright ones though.

WOW- :o all ive got to say is a MASSIVE THANK YOU-PHOENIXJEDI for taking the time and trouble to post this, mouser.com is a little confusing for ME to navigate ...i know i shouldn't ask this but how do you differentiate which LED-ENGINs are on a star base and which have the addressable dies.?
