Has anyone seen or heard from Goodman?

We have a long standing bit of business to conclude. i haven't received a response to my numerous and varied attempts to contact him. However I'm not only concerned about my sabers but his welfare as well. He's a good guy and our dealings have been nothing but pleasant. His prices are fair. His advice and imagination are impressive, most impressive. ;) I really hope all is well. I appreciate any help on this matter. Thank you fellow forum members.

There are several people wondering exactly the same thing.  My last communication with Goodman was on 8/25 and he told me he had to return to China on business.  Several of us have phone messages and emails in to him but have not head back yet.

I cannot speak for John but I have a piece of work out with him right now as well and have faith that I will receive it.

I have heard back from him sporadically over the last few months as he is working abroad and gets back to California too infrequently. I would bet he is fine and just offline for a while now.

He is a super nice guy and from our conversations I think he is just as concerned about the long bench times right now as we are.

8/25 was the last I heard from him as well.

I sent a message to him just two minutes ago. I hope he's fine. I commissioned him for a little update to my Luke ROTJ lightsaber, but I cannot communicate with him no more.  :-\

I'm sorry for Goodman, but I had to commission another smith here in the Wantend section for my little update to my ROTJ saber.  :-\

However, I hope he's fine and makes good business in China.  ;) Hope we'll keep in touch for other projects in the future, also!  ;D

I wondered as well. Had to get my Qui-gon bored out a bit, for it won't fit any blades I have and didn't wanna sand down (extensively) just one blade. It's not being dueled with, so I guess I could send it out to any smith as well, but it was his build and this was after I bought it last year and have it done without being charged for doing so. Hope he is doing well though. He's fantastic when we did communicate.

Understood, but the last communications we have is that he is out of the country.  I think it was sort of unexpected.  I am sure he will be in touch as soon as he returns.

Goodman turned out to be a con artist and thief.  I seriously doubt anyone who is owed anything will ever get it back.  If you are waiting to send something to Goodman, then look someplace else - he is not coming back.

Goodman needs to be striken from everybody's minds.  If you have an outstanding transaction with him and have details, there is a thread you can post in there.  DO NOT SEND HIM A THING.  DO NOT EXPECT TO GET ANYTHING BACK IF YOU HAVEN"T ALREADY.
