I was wondering about this new led (well new to me) does anybody know much about it ? how it would compare to a led engine

Lucien has dealt extensively with them. I have some x4 configurations he made in one of my sabers.


Heres a link to what he has done. Shoot him a PM I am sure he would have some insights.

There's some more extensive info on them ;)
There's brilliant for color mixing.
The 4 dies of the led fit under a standard lens so... yeah  ;)

FYI. It cannot be used with plecterlabs Petit Crouton or Crystal Focus with FoC or CeX as the die on the X2 and X4 are not independently addressable. The share a common positive.
