Never mind, I'm getting it on Monday ;)

**EDIT: Actually I have no idea now. I'm trying to get my mom to take me to get it Sunday but she said "we'll see" which is good news.

once upon a time I used rechargeables in my FFX's. Then I found that they are just not strong enough to fully light the FX.  Even regular alkalines are better than rechargeables as far as the quality of output you get from them.

I got to get me some Energizer Lithiums sometime too for my two FX sabers.  For now I'm using the Energizer Max.  They're okay but there's a lot of blotchyness in my Maul FX saber.  I can't wait to see what that will look like when it's fed with the Lithiums.

the lithium battery shouldnot make the saber any brighter than a high end alkaline such as an M3 or an ultimate.  where lithium comes into the equation is in terms of longevity rather than brightness.  if you use your saber every day for more than say 10mins, go with lithiums.  otherwise alkaline energizer ultimates or duracell M3 will do the job just fine.   i have ultimates in my maul saber and it was in near constant use being switched on and off for almost two hours on halloween.  it still looks great.
