agreed with Clark anything other then there original price,Is a rip-off,if they where converted to lux or had crystal focus/Petit Crouton in both of them,then they would be a bargain

They are no longer made and a limited number was made.  For people who collect, they have value.

That statement doesn't make sense from an economic point of view. They are extremely rare so actually finding them unaltered is difficult and they are worth exactly what people are willing to pay for them. A stock unaltered one can always be converted later, an already converted can never go back and so they appeal to twice as many possible consumers.

i care about practicality,just becuase its rare does not mean it's good,he could buy a good custom saber with that kind of money, but if he's a huge fan of ventress and doesn't want to buy other lightsabers then it could be a bargain

it also depends how much money he has and if he wants to collect

Re: the Ventress pair - looking through 'Completed/Sold listings' there aren't many, but a few have come up recently and the ones that have sold are quite a bit cheaper than that - between $400 and $700 for a pair. I'm not a fan of them myself or a collector in that sense, but even if you're both, $900 is well above the going rate based on those that have sold recently.

Personally don't think it's a bad price - but it would need modification to make room for in hilt LED and sound if that was your intention, so worth figuring that in in considering if you feel it's worth it yourself.

Also - noticed Parks is offering Graflex, Mpp, MkIII + empty Luke ROTJ/Arcwave for $450 - same as you'd pay on his site for the 3 without the Luke hilt. Quite a bargain IMO. If I had the spare $$$ to drop on it I'd be very tempted...
