I love it!!! It's awesome. My dad (who picked it up from sharperimage on his way back from work) walked in with the box. I picked up the box and I thought "wow, this thing is light! (compared to my anakin ATOC FX). I opened up the box and the packaging sure has changed since the ATOC saber. I hurried and put in some batteries, and I turned on the blade, and it didn't do the effect from bottom to top. After turning it on and off a few times it kicked in. I was amazed at how small it was. I was expecting something the same weight and size of the ATOC saber. The stickers came off with almost no sticky residue. I noticed some splotchiness, and the first thing I thought (thanks to this forum), was batteries. I took the old ones out, and I put in some brand new energizer E2 Lithium that put out 2900 MAH. It was beautiful. The blue from it made my anakin ATOC saber look almost green. with the new batteries, the sound effects are almost excact. I love my saber!!! I will put up some pics tommorow. Here is a list of things I did with my ATOC saber that I will not do with my ROTS saber
I will not hit it on the soft bed
I will not spin it at high speeds in small rooms with solid metal shelfs (I think you know what happend after that)
I will not soak it with windex to clean it (not literally, I just got a really soggy paper towel with windex to wipe it off)
I will not bang it on the floor to trigger the clashing sounds
I will not use it with old/cheap batteries
I will not use the included stand (because of bending blades, luckily, my ATOC saber didn't come with one so my blade is still straight)
I will not use it without washing my hands first (ATOC saber got really grimy, really fast)
That's about all I can think of right now. Let me know if there is anything else I shouldn't do. I have the saber in my lap as I am typing this and I feel that I must turn it on and spin it around. I will write back with pics soon. Good Night.
