What Neopixel strips do you use?

I am wondering what name brand, size and type of Neopixel strips you use in your blades. I'm looking for info and links for both RGB and RGBW if possible. Please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks.  What size (5050, 3535, etc.) and how many per strip?  Also, what is your opinion on the Adafruit and SparkFun brands of Neopixel strips (if you have one)?  Please let me know, thanks.

I use the Adafruit 3535 Skinny strips with white PCB.

I've been very happy. Biggest complaint is that even though they come in meter length, there is a solder joint that is ugly and usually needs to be redone. The solder joint in question is at the half meter mark.

I haven't tried RGBW yet but I'll let you know once I do.

all pixels are made in half meter lengths and joined.  I used 5m strips for a number of projects.

I don't think it is worth the money to go through adafruit. They do not manufacture them. At best they are ordering from a known reliable source and performing some QC on their end.

For projects where absolute brightness isn't critical, BTF has a cheaper "Eco" version. For most projects I'm only running things at 20 to 50 max brightness anyway.  They use gold alloy bonding wires instead of gold, and don't mount capacitors.
