Cutting out the 'windows' in the DM1 emitter

Anyone tried this? I assume it'll make the emitter too weak structurally but I had a couple of failed holes for grub screws I haven't filled yet and the red shining through looks awesome ;)

I've seen it done a few times on various different versions of Maul-inspired hilts, though not specifically on a Korbanth DM1. It might be a little more structurally sound on the older 2012(?) run of DM1s as the radiators on those looked machined, rather than cast like on the 2014 run. Don't think anyone would dare to do this to an Awesomesauce X11000, though :wink:
