51TH Commando V3

This is the third saber in my Sith Commando Series.  This one was built expressly for durability (uni-body design) but stays true to the angular design of it's forbears.  The entire series are hilts meant to be used by Sith "Troopers"...a standard issue saber if you will.  This one is powder coated all in matte black, but I did add a few copper accents (choke, custom switch and real copper pommel insert) to give it some flow.  The grip is inlaid cross-hashed grip material used on fishing poles.  Got the idea from Cybknight.  Gracias.  The "clamp-band" is knurled, but it is subtle.  The previous Sabers in this series have had "sithly-colored" blades like red and sulfurous yellow.  This one is TruPurple...we all know that Bane loved him some purple after all...and i finished it off with a matching purple Crystal Pommel.  Enjoy.

This is awesome! The diamond rubber grip looks stunning, looks nice and comfortable to grip. I really like the emitter too, with the blade being visible a lot further down. Fantastic work GENERAL! :)

Thank you.  I went for elegance in utility with the design.  this entire series has been only mildly popular, but I am drawn to the idea of Sith Commandos for some reason.

Oh, and LDM, if you were to ever offer "something like this" (the one body design is pretty appealing to me), I'd SERIOUSLY consider picking up one.  ;)
The more I see it, the more I seem to like it... Seeing this saber made my day better  ;D
