LIGHTSABER SPIN LESSON 1 BASIC FORWARD SPIN

Ok here is my 1st installment of lightsaber spin tutorials.
I had planed to get some from Sw dvds but my video card would not allow.
So I had to search the debts of space ( cyber the is ;) ) to seek out a well skilled Jedi Master...and found one I did at ryan-w.com

I plan have MANY more of these still frame tutorials,and I hope this inspires more people from the board to contribute with there own.
I am seeking out people on this board who would be willing to help.
Also if someone would care to properly narrate what is happening in this pic,i will add the narration to it.

i really must say, ALL spins (like those) are easy.  :)

the hard stuff comes when you try to incorporate spins WHILE dueling... and the spins are acually used in combat, and are not just there for the sake of being there. Try looking at some of the thing Hayden has to do in ROTS... now THAT is difficult.

Yeah i thought it might be a little self explanatory.
I wanted ti start out simple,it is lesson..

What I am seeking from you guys is people to help me with the narrations or the next more complex lessons.

I'm gonna practice on a broomstick first. I wouldn't want to drop my lightsabers halfway. I'm looking forward to the more complex lessons, illbeats...

Yeah, thats a pretty basic spin. Its also relatively easy to incorporate into a duel.

I actually figured out the harder one that Anakin does while fighting Obi at the volcano. What makes it look harder than it actually is is that he (ani) is turning his body while he is spining his saber. I don't do that, I just do the whole routine while facing my opponent. I usually just start with a few easy spins, and then finish off with the harder one. Thats usually enough to 'intimidate' my opponent.  ;D

thats what i was talking about! glad you brought that up, BD, thats the one ive been working on for the past couple of weeks... still got some little glitches in it, but im not too bad at doing that scene...

i had to watch the ENTIRE little 30 second clip of him doing it OVER and OVER again.. very difficult.

as opposed to spining the saber in your hand ;)
