I think so, but I am not sure. I designed it on paper, and my sabersmith drew it up on a CAD. I am pretty sure he uses solidworks.

Nice designs....v2 would be my choice....and if I might suggest a small tweak  -- take the v-groove fore grip and use that in your rear grip as well.  I think it would nicely balance the saber overall.  Just my $0.02.

I agree with Arryk Corso. The overall design would be more consistent with just one type of grooved section. I would take the one with the wider spaced grooves from the lower part and use it in the top half, though - but that's just a matter of taste...  :wink:
Concerning your poll: I chose V3, because I like the resulting taper to the choke section better than with the long shroud.

Ummmm, dude? V3 IS a long shroud... V1 is the short-one.
