Shaak Ti!!! - Congratulations on finally getting your first saber!! After all you've been through to get one, you should have made a much grander announcement!!!

It was to the point that about a month ago when I was thinking of who I would like to have particular sabers in my collection given to after my death, you were on my list for one of my Maul's. I guesse I have to update that document now  ;)

This is great news to me.I am genuinely, genuinely happy for you sista!!!

Thanks Bin! I'm sooo happy with it (Thank you again Lando!!!) I had fun aweing and making several of my fellow dorm residents jealous last night ;D I must admit though... next time I attempt spinning... I'M WEARING GLOVES!! Ouch lol And how I managed a full 7 foot figure 8... is crazy..

Grander announcement? Nah! Subtlety works fine for me :P Maybe a review once I get ahold of a decent camera?? *coughs after noticing Bin just asked for a review*

Now then... How does one display a 7 foot long lightsaber in a dorm room that is 10 feet or so wide and hardly anywhere to dispay anything??  :-\

you can use the wall-mounted stands like what you see in my avatar and mount them in twos or use a horizontal mount.
not sure if you're allowed to put those kinds of holes in a dorm room though so you'd have to check on that one  :-\

also, just practice spinning a lot to break your hands in and after a few layers of skin between your thumb and index finger peel off and heal you'll be fine  :-[

Jedye: the room is longer than wide and the ceiling isn't tall enough :P

Bin: I would - will be getting one of those eventually. Alas, the only thing that can go on the dorm walls are those hangers with the pull and release adhesive strip things. Highly doubt it one of those could handle holding up this beasty lol And as for the spinning.. I used to spin my dad's wooden Arnis sticks a lot :P Spinning doesn't bug me, it's the varied surface and the greeblies that aggravate.
