Thanks, Kolgrima for the kind words and also for testing it out on a Brew Board.

Ease of use was a big goal with this, so I was pleased to read your comment. I suspect that the requirement to edit and build code has turned off some would-be Arduino/DIYino fans. I hope that removing that requirement can help change that at least a little.

The motion engine is something I spent a lot of time working on to get it just right. I am glad to see the result is appreciated!

Side note: Since the free STREAM dropped, I've been getting a lot of PMs with words of praise, and while I really value that feedback, so far not a single video or picture. What gives? Don't be shy, folks! I wanna see some hum'n glow sticks!

I fully intend to do a video... soonish, I'm just finishing up some other stuff first.

The more the merrier! Based on some of your previous works, you probably already have a compatible saber or two. It should just be a quick re-program for you.

Here's a video, I've tried the stream software with the neopix. I haven't set the final blade style yet

S.T.R.E.A.M FREE with Neopixel (homebrewboard) - YouTube

Nice job Atti!!! I've seen it already on FB, thanks for sharing! You might also want to link it in to the FX-SaberOS group.

Great addition for folks building their own boards!!!

Great video! Thank you for the valuable feedback. I'll keep your suggestions in mind for future versions of STREAM. (I have a little code space left to play with before it won't work with the old Nano bootloader.)

And remember, if the "STREAM is FREE" video gets 50 likes, the font limit gets increased further from 2 to 3 fonts. At the time of this posting, it sits at needing only 15 more likes, so it's entirely possible to get there! Thank you for continuing to share this news and the video.

Indeed it has. And so fast! 15 likes in less than 24 hours from posting a reminder? You guys are great!

As promised, 3 sound fonts are now unlocked in the free firmware. A third sound font has also been added to the default SD card files.

Download it here:
GitHub - JakeS0ft/STREAM at Version1.5_WIP

Important Note: If you plan to upgrade your firmware on an existing install, be aware that doing so will revert your settings to safe defaults. That means your custom colors will be reset to defaults and your sound timings may be off. (Unfortunately maintaining backwards compliance with older firmware versions' settings is expensive in terms of precious code space on the chip.) Version 1.5 has the ability to back up your sound timings to PC harddisk, so I suggest you do this for each profile before you do the upgrade. Then at least you won't have to re-tune them if you use the same fonts.

Other than that, it should be quite easy to move to the 3-font version.

Thank you so much for all the kind support! Long live FX!
