Need a good pic of you holding that with perhaps a stick in it, could make a nice effect on that and since it is the correct proportions, it would be nice.

Everytime I watch ROTJ I've yet to see it with that flat Orange color :-\

I see it with the Shiny bronze/brass look but not the flat finished.
I still wonder why MR went with this finish?

yeah, funny thing is the V.2 saber is the one you see throughout most of the movie.

The only time the Hero saber made it to film was when Vader was holding it and checking it out.

That is why the V2 is such a sought after replica, since it has so much screen time.  I even fell victim to the trend and tried to make myself one. :D

The V2 really should be the number one most requested saber now that they are making the Qui-Gon LE.  Maybe they will do one.  ???

I would imagine it is on MR's list of "possible" sabers to produce...since it is on screen so much and so many people out there have shown an interest in it.  That and all the differences between the hero and the V2.  It would make for a wonderful companion piece to go with the Hero version

Since there were no pics of the V2 here I thought I'd post one of mine.  It certainly isn't done, the brass color needs to be black, must add a proper d-ring, it needs a couple of transistors and I'm not sure if I'm going to leave it with the bubble strip or go with a circuit board but you can see the more obvious differences from the Hero version.

Slightly off topic, I wonder what the LED's on the control box are for?

You would never go, hmmm is my lightsaber on? I'd better look at the little LED's on the control box

I thought the LEDs on the control box were to adjust the blade length, but I'm not sure. ???

As for that V2, it started out as a custom machined hero ROTJ.
