As all of you know, there are two conventions in the tulsa area, Defcon, and Tokyo in tulsa. I am wondering who would be on board to possibly attend these two events, and maybe more to hold exhibitions, confirmed or unconfirmed ;D and jsut have fun. Both are three day conventions. It would be fun for I bet everyone. If anyone has any ideas on this matter please input any opinions or information on this.

It would depend on when the conventions are. Somebody said August on another thread, but since I don't like anime stuff, I don't pay attention. Isn't there like a Star Trek/Scifi convention too...or is that Defcon? Are you thinking of having a booth or something? Display people's collections under watchful eyes for sticky fingers. I am personally very protective of my sabers. Nobody but friends and family allowed to touch, much less spar with them. The MR ones I have are collector's items now. We would also need space to duel where the audience would not get hit by accident. If we started out our own dueling group, what would we name it? If I am not mistaken, Darth Thalos, aren't you a "dark jedi"? Not that it really matters to me since most everybody has a light/dark side. We would need to all meet up to get to know one another and practice any fights/duels. Where could we meet? I am in Tulsa and for the time being my days off are during the week.(Tues and Weds)

I know it will be hard, but I work all week monday through friday 8 to 5. I bet if can find more people, we could work something small out. I live in sand springs.
Edit: These conventions yes are in fact a years away. Maybe we can try to put something together.
