We like to keep sabers for a week or two, run down a few sets of batteries, make sure the recharge port and charger all work.
"FATE" is getting shipped to it's owner tomorrow.
Here's how. ;)
First we find out what size shirt the customer wears. My wife prints the 2 logos out and irons them on a pocketed T-shirt. (She good for stuff like that... ;) ) Little GC circle on the pocket... big banner on the back.
Next, we start rolling the saber in the shirt... TIGHTLY!
Then, we secure the shirt with tape and ribbon.
Also included in the box is a 34 inch poly-c blade and his "padawan pack". The pack is his Tenergy charger, Halon Customs Saber stand, 2 Allen wrenches (taped to the charger) and an 8g flash drive. On the flash drive are his build pictures, the "reveal" pictures and video and his
Video Instruction Manual, which is about 18 minutes long. We do the Video Manual because I dread having to print an instruction manual. So I talk about the parts of the saber, how to clean it, how to remove the blade or safety plug and the CF instructions. I think this goes over better than our old manuals.
Then everything is loaded in a long USPS tube, filled with newspaper, taped up with HD DuctTape and ready for pick up.
Once again, Eric... Thank you. You should get this sometime this week! May it serve you well.
