  • Um...Hello?
I'm in the process of designing a new saber and ran across a topic on this forum for using an HC06 Bluetooth device to allow for RICE configuration from android via Bluetooth. I'm wondering if the current PRIZM 5.1 would be compatible with that option, or is that project now defunct?

It will work but consider also the HM 13 module

HM13 is a nice module, but seems it's not as prevalent as HC06. Will and Bluetooth to serial adapter work?

Darn, think I'll stick with the HC06, i at least know that can be reset to the correct baud rate. It's also cheaper.

Erv, one more quick question. When connecting the Rx and Tx wires from the PRIZM board to the Bluetooth module, do you wire it Rx-Tx or Rx-Rx? Think I already know the answer, but to avoid the possibility of having to resolder things thought I'd ask.

It's a cross wiring RX goes to TX
