This class of yours doesn't exactly sound like a bit of hedonism Barriss but as i'm sure you well know recovery periods will become less and less and to quote an old cliche, no pain n... you get the picture.

I'm hoping.  I've been taking these classes for 2 years, but was laid up due to a REAL bad chest-bug-thingy.  I was in bed for a week, and barely ate or drank the entire time, and I think I pushed myself too soon, thus my wobbliness and other assorted candy-butt behavior.

Added to the fact that I now go to school in the morning before work, the physicality of my training seems to be more of a stressor than a de-stressor at the moment.

Sigh.

Oh well.  At least I get to look forward to a new saber in the mail!

Well here's hoping you are back fighting fit soon!

Oh and when your saber does arrive we'll give you a couple of days grace (just enough time for your jaw to relocate properly) but then we want to hear all about it.

Just came back from the Dentist, had a tooth removed.

Not as bad as I thought it would be, actually, the worst part was the shot in the pallet.

Gonna be sore though oncce this novacaine wears off.

Blah, that's gotta suck, Wookie man! I have to have a tooth pulled...but I've no insurance  :-\

Lemme see... What has been with this month? It's just been one bad thing after another - life threatened, sick, can't sleep, lack of sleep, cat went into heat and won't shut the heck up, I've an essay due next week,... Yesterda I was nearly in tears all day from a massive headache, a chick in math class started to chew me about about my cell phone - on vibrate, in class saying I was disrupting the teacher and other students (who in fact weren't or would have said so), Im hungry, I miss my boyfriend terribly, today I woke up with a headache on the other side of my head...and I'm beyond exhausted. Oh and add on top of that...my tooth hurts.

There.

Work offers insurance for dental work, but it's nearly $50.00 amonth.

My bill today was $220.00, ..(xray and PLENTY of novacaine and nitrous, ......PLEEEENTY).

Most dental plans really only are benificial if u have major surgery, braces or getting false teeth. They usually pay for 2 visits and 1 cleaning a year, ....but that averages $60.00 a visit and $90.00 for the cleaning, .....so unless u have chronic tooth issues, dental insurance isn't worth it.

Yeah, I can see how. I have been on state CMPS (basic version of MediCal) but they nixed all dental, so I'm kinda stuck... Another reason why Cali stinks right now...

I just had on onlay on my back molar which is basically a fancy crown.   Almost $1000.  :o  Paid for my insurance this year.  ;D  But Chewie is correct thatif you have great teeth it's not worth it.  Of course if you have a family like I do with 2 kids its almost always worth.

Sorry to hear about that Shaakster.  My wife has had that the last two months of her pregnancy.   She went in today and she needs work done since they broke off part of her tooth will exploring. :P

Oh, and my favorite bookstore - the one around the corner from my house - is closing in 3 weeks.  *SOB!*   :'(

Up until 2 days ago I was working at my favorite bookstore......up until it closed down and I was laid off :'(
I get 2 weeks severance pay and need to find another job.  The only positive is that I have been working so much the last few weeks that my next paycheck should be fairly decent and the 2 weeks severance should help some.  But looking for a new job is going to be a PAIN....even though I accept that I couldn't work there forever and I need to find a job that makes use of my degree.

*patpats* Sorry to hear that. If it's any consolation, I also know what it's like to lose a job. :(

For those of you who didn't know my wife is now 15 weeks pregnant.  This in itself is awesome... what sucks is now that she is FINALLY getting over her "morning-that-is-all-day" sickness she and 2 of my 3 kids have all picked up a sweet flu bug.  They all have a nice cough and fevers... WAY fun.  It HAS to get better soon...

*patpat* all.

Btw, my jaw did roll under the couch when I got my new saber.  I'll post my opinions later, once I get pics taken.
