To carry this over from the other thread here is where updates on the TFU2 run appear. As I mentioned towards the end of May, we brought on an engineer to help us finalize the internal chassis because we were having a struggle getting it done on our own. We had changed the design from a more basic internal chassis with a crystal chamber, to something much more elaborate. We felt like we wanted to bring on a cad designer/mechanical engineer to help us work out the finer details as well as all of our upcoming projects. I realize the Run has been going on a long time and I understand that people are getting frustrated. It IS very far along. All of the hilts are machined, they are all anodized, and the chassis is designed pending any tweaks after the SK ones are manufactured. To the person who wanted to see weathering and wrap examples we don't do that. First of all we don't do spoilers until we are really ready to share. Secondly we don't do the final finish until everything is already installed. This minimizes any damage to the fit and finish that might happen during the installation process. We do not have extras to mock up of these. As you know, it is a VERY limited run. The reason why the Starkiller was the proof of concept, is because it incorporates a lot of the same features that the Tfu2 chassis will incorporate, but because the Starkiller has the crystal in a different area it's a bit easier to manufacture the chassis. We wanted to make sure everything works out well before finishing with the Tfu2 chassis which incorporates the crystal chamber into its design so is a bit more complex in terms of layout and installation. As I have mentioned before, if anyone on the run no longer wishes to wait please contact me and we can make arrangements. We are close. I was hoping for end of summer it's looking more like early fall before they start shipping. It's not going to be another year, it's not going to go on forever. But we've waited this long I want it to be right.
