This is a(nother) Corran Horn lightsaber interpretation piece.  Forwarned: it's different

Imagine Corran's mission to Bimmiel or another mission on the Yuuzhan Vong campaign... things go somewhat sour, and his lightsaber craps out.  What's a Jedi Master/fighter pilot/detective to do?  Well, if I was Corran...

Crystal Focus V9 & CeX - uses endlock and tangible font select
Various bit of scrap aluminium tube and bar... and a dive into the greeble box
Cree RGB, 7.4 Li-ion pack... this's & that's...

Looks good as usual.

Why do I feel like you’ve done more than 4 versions of his saber??

I find your arguments vague and unconvincing.

Quiet! *Slap* And there’s a fresh one if you mouth off again.

Very nice. That looks more like how I pictured Corran Horn's saber from reading the books than any I've seen so far. And the X-wing flashback arrestor does give it a neat retro sci-fi look. Kinda like someone's idea of a futuristic crossguard.

It's like a lightsaber and an X-Wing cannon had a baby! Sweetness!

It's funny you say that, the first draft was even more x-wingy until I decided on the stubby emitter.  That one wouldn't accomodate a 1" blade, but it could use a 7/8", and the 30mm blade would fit OVER it. ...which could have been cool.  ;)

Man... See, now, I prefer the prototype. That long barrel just looks better to my eye.
