Pretty sure thats what the signed certificate of authenticity is for? This stuff is valued and treated in the same way art is.

What gets me is this desire for COAs. If I'm going to take the time to counterfeit an item,  I would take the time to fake the COA.  It is not too difficult to counterfeit even big reputable authentication houses' documents.

I've broken Juggers in half, smashed their bones, left the ground behind me wet with brains. There's nothing I wouldn't do to win. But I never hurt anyone for any reason other than sticking a dog's skull on a stake.

Selling an item as authentic through ebay when it is not is bad enough. If you forge the document as well thoug you open yourself up to a lawsuit by the agency's whose documentation you forged.  Plus there is jailtime involved in most states for forging documents, and if it crosses state lines it becomes a federal offense.

So yeah, it wouldn't be too hard to forge the document, but the penalties for getting caught triple as well as the possibility to be sued.

EDIT: There is a reason those big name auction houses etc, keep their reputable name.  Because they feverishly protect that name, through all possible legal options.

This guy has a nice bunch of solids for sale, all at pretty low prices.

I saw those, but his shipping kind of turned me off.  little high

Wonder if that might be a bug in the shipping calculator or just USPS rates...its coming up as $11.50 to Cali, and $60 to NY, so...

They are solids too, so probably fairly heavy.

Hi Guys,

Just want to bring to your attention this item.

Search* ebay for "Star Wars Force FX Lightsaber Collectibles - SET of EIGHT". Note that the listing is in Canada.

(*I'm unable to post external links, apparently)

One day left. Boom.
