Heads I win,....tails you lose... :D

To be more specific, I'm pretty sure it was the play of light off his face.

How's this for hot off the presses:

Cristar and Je-Rel  Kylene, Je-Rel and Cristar.

We went to the our "local' ren faire to meet up, and as promised here's some pics.  I'm more Disney-fied in these pics (versus the ones I took down) but my vanity thinks these pictures are better anyway.  Kylene is a friend of mine that rode shotgun and kept us from ending up in Ohio.

A good time was had by all, and I must say that on top of being an overall great guy, Cristar took hanging out with us with grace and dignity - even when it meant relacing my halter top before I had a "wardrobe malfunction" and telling Kylene that NO she does NOT look fat in that dress. That's right folks, he went dress shopping with 2 women and didn't complain once.  He is truly a jedi in thought and deed!

Chris, it was a pleasure and honor to meet you!

Chris, it was a pleasure and honor to meet you!

Ah, it was completely my pleasure, m'lady.  Oh, wait... I just slipped back into RenFaire-speak!  ;D

In all seriousness, guys... Je-Rel and Kylene are absolutely lovely ladies and a total blast to hang out with, and it was a beautiful day at the faire.  It was also great to finally meet and spend time with someone from our little online community here in the "real" world.

I bid you many thanks for the wonderful day, m'ladies!  Huzzah!  Ah, crap!  I'm doing it again!  ;)

You're cool man.
Finally someone who understand, you need a real headphone for quallity.

Okay... because I know he won't get off his butt and upload one himself, here's a pic of my bud (and fellow forum member) Yannus Nosevi.  It was at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia a few months ago.  The youngling he's holding is his padawan son.  The one with the big ears in the background is some 900-year-old guy that just happened to be there too.

Peace be upon all,

Attached is a photo my wife took on 8/31/08 of me and my girls. During the approach of the month of Ramadan in the Islamic lunar calendar, we always drive up into the Hayward hills next to the California State University campus to try and sight the appearance  of the new crescent moon which signals the start of our month of fasting from sunrise to sunset. This is basically the inward or spiritual bootcamp of my Jedi training ;)

We didn't sight the crescent until the next night but we sure had fun clashing sabers and practicing new moves until the Park Authority came to politely remind us that the park closes after sunset  :-[
As we were packing up she said, "It sure looked cool from the road"!  ;)

It's great to add a touch of science fiction to a sacred tradition  8)

As I made my mental list of things I wanted to avoid or get out of my life during this fasting period, this forum was not one of them and I have all of you to thank for that  :)

with peace,
Bin Adam
