OK I'm kind of in the dumps right now as I am on my last day of vaca tomorrow.  Probably jsut mope around all day.   I have been waiting for a few TCSS parts that came on sat and I have not had time to use them.  I am gonna put every effort in next week to get this saber wrapped up to expect an update of serious proportion barring any family crisis in less than 2 weeks.

As for the CF gremlins- no on Erv until I try a bit more.  Although I did email him for some hints.  I reloaded the new switch numbers in separate config files so as soon as I reload the SB I will try each out to see which one works.  I may even bring it with me to work and see if I can get it done there.

Stay tuned.  Sorry for the delays but summer is always busy for us and these are meant to be winter projects when I am locked indoors.

Well unfortunately things have been insanely busy this summer and now into the fall with trying to fix our house up to sell and making plans for the one we are hoping to buy.

I took some better pics of Acerocket's awesome work and thought you all might like to see some better close up picks.

BTW my CF is now going in my graflex since I couldn't pass up Yoda's new crystal chamber so this saber will now house a US 2.0.

I am only waiting on one part.  US 2.0.  Once I have that it will be done in a couple of hours.  Although I am selling my house and moving in late january so that may slow things down a bit.

I guess I'll just have to live with my graflex with cf 3.0.  :'(   ;D

HOLY CRAP. I like the idea of a custom with mhs compatibility. Nice saber man.

It's not as good as it looks in the pictures.  IT'S WAY BETTER.  Yes this hilt rocks.  The grip section feels amazing in your hand.  A great well balanced hilt.  I love it.

Holy thread revival.  I am selling off my US 2.5 in hopes to obtain a CF5 this year.  This seems to be the never ending saber build.  It was finished with a CF 3.0 that then was put in my Graflex and now it's got the US2.5.

I have fired it up about ten times and being overdriven it's uber bright.  The 18650 X 2 stick pack is awesome on the runtime.  I'll miss this saber as I wait anxiously for a CF.

I figured I'd better at least post one lit pic before it goes silent again.  :'(

I hope you get one. A saber this nice deserves to have the best engine running inside it. ;)

I was hoping to do something similar, though it would be nice to keep both... I have a self-made graflex IV replica with an US 2.5 and I like it, but I have an MHS saber in the works (drawing board phase) in hopes of obtaining a CF 5.07.  If either of us get lucky, or hopefully both of us, It's gonna mean some awesome threads.  One thing that I find is that when you're working on a saber and making good progress it's hard to stop to take progress pictures for the forum.  Good luck to you.
