Master Replicas Neopixel Conversion
« on: May 07, 2019, 06:22:06 PM »
Has anyone here ever done a conversion of a MR lightsaber using neopixels? I ordered a kit to convert my MR mace to a luxeon but had the thought that maybe I could keep the scrolling effect with a neopixel strip. Just not sure how I would go about it or if its even doable.

It should be possible, if you use the proper electronics.

I find your arguments vague and unconvincing.

Quiet! *Slap* And there’s a fresh one if you mouth off again.

I did it with my 2005 MR ESB hilt. I used The Custom Saber Shop MR conversion kit withe NeoPixel pin connector. I am currently using a TeensySaber v3 but I am going to change over to a Crystal Focus X that I have on order. I am also going to build another blade using RGBW neopixels.
