Here's my very first saber, I bought this 3 years ago as a mr luke rotj but a month after I broke it, I was depressed.. lol now I did a paint job and converted it to be much more like the v.2 of luke's saber only heavily weathered..
also I replaced the led string into a rebel star, making it worthy for mid dueling. but the problem is i don't have anybody here to play with.

Thank you, I really thought I made a mistake by painting black all over the hilt, however sanding the paint made a desiring finish. it pretty much looked like a very used saber.

thanks, I do agree, It kinda took me 3 years to have this saber converted since its quite hard for the parts to be shipped here in our country, also this forum helped me a lot to know more about this addiction. :)
