Senti-Xamas' conversion set, volume 1
« on: March 07, 2010, 10:06:54 PM »
There is something therapeutic about converting MR/HFX lightsabers, ....nothing fancy, nothing thought provoking, just conversions from standard MRs to Luxeon style sabers.
The basis of this hobby.

These were fun, and it had been a quite a while since I did conversions, it was nice to get back to these.

Senti-Xamas, these are your hilts, thanks for sending them, it was nice to "get back to basics".

The Maul hilts are using a Red P4
The Vader with the aluminum shroud, (Anakin AOTC) is using a Blue P4
The Obi TPM is using a LUX III Bin ll  Blue

Not sure why I was compelled to take this shot, .....but that is one of your Maul boards with the TCSS conversion kit.

Enjoyable conversions, ...I was actually sorta sad when I finished that last Maul.

Still gotta tap the blade retention holes, and tap the hole that used to have the pin in the middle of the middle of the hilt, (Obi and Mauls). I used 6/32 button head screws instead of replacing the pin, .....just find they give the hilt a finished look more so than the pins.
