Title: My first Lightsaber
Post by: Trhuster on November 22, 2015, 07:27:39 AM
This is nothing compared to many sabers i have seen here but it was a fun build and i am happy that i finally completed it. It is made from aluminium and copper with a 3d-printed diffuser inside where the lightning cutouts is. I think i fried red accent led so no red lightning atm. No big deal as i want it blue mostly. Soundboard is Igniter2 and Z6 for main led.

Looks great.  Quite original - especially for your first build.

Ooh, you beat me to it!  I have a tron legacy project in the works that uses similar techniques... but it's a little further away from showoffable.  First saber?  Good start, keep it up.  Like!

Very nicely done. I really like the backlit cutouts. Also looks like a clean and tidy install on the inside which I consider the hallmark of a quality saber.

Great work.

Really nice to see something that feels totally an individuals style, just a really nice, fun saber. Interesting build techniques, showing a trend in new construction methods. High quality build for a first, look forward to future designs!
