I have that too. Still in the original box. And it still works perfectly on the original batteries! My brother has the C-3P0 & R2-D2 bank, also in the box but it needs new batteries.

yep, those talking banks were great and the vader, droid banks are far better than the set they released for the TPM film ... yeah still got all mine boxed and mint... certainly brings back some memorys.

Man my first major headache with an Ebay purchase was one of these... The buyer sent it in a box that was too big with zero padding so from one side of Aus to the other it was bouncing and jumping around everywhere with no padding. I would assume this was where the lightsaber broke off except... It wasn't in the box at all so must have been broken off either during packaging or before. What a long drawn out battle that turned into...
In the end i kinda won though... Kinda ;)
very cool bank nonetheless :)

yep i have the vader, 100% intact and functional. i also have TWO sets of the droids, both fully operational.

i'd be willing to part with a set of droids if anyone is interested?
