EZRA'S LIGHTSABER (VERSION 1)

I've grown to really love this hilt. But I wanted my version to be accurate to how it functions in the show.

Ezra can only either use the saber OR the blaster at any one time. Never both together.

INTERNALS
I have TWO Spark2 soundboards inside this hilt. One runs just the saber. One runs the blaster only.
There's one ONE 18500 3.7v battery running power to a toggle switch that directs it to the board selected.
I custom built the toggle switch inside what looks to be the activation board/matrix behind the emitter. Down position for saber. Up position for blaster.
The red triangle switch on the side of the hilt is also the recharge port and turnkey.
There are two speakers in the hilt as well. A Railmaster 28mm for the saber and a 23mm for the blaster.
Tri cree BBW for the emitter and single cree for the blaster.
Only accepts a 3/4" blade.

EXTERNALS
A lot of time went into making sure the hilt was as accurate as possible. From the original 3D printed parts, the emitter and blaster barrel were replaced with aluminium parts along with the pommel and d-ring. The 3D parts were sanded, filled, painted (several coats) then weathered to look as beaten as the rest of the equipment in Rebels.

All up at least 8 months of trial and error, painting, weathering and endless frustration. But I got there.

That's actually really impressive! I've been watching season 2 of Rebels and this looks really spot on!
