GL seems to be all over the place with his comments lately, but I think it quite humorous that he calls Spider-Man 3 "Silly". Just because he's pretty much the grand poobah of CG now as ILM does just about EVERYTHING lately. Albeit, Spider-Man 3 is rather silly... ;D

these silly comments from the guy who brought us Jar Jar and the Holiday Special ::) I wouldn't be talking if I were him :D

Well at least GL expressed regret about the holiday special ;D
I think the new Live action series will be called

STAR WARS: The Jar-Jar Binks Senatorial Debate Saga! :D :D :D :D

This will be interesting......I have a feeling that the CGI will be sightly better than the Ewok Adventures. ;)

theforce.net says that this interviewer misquoted Lucas and GL was referring to the live acton TV series, and not movies. The interviewer, apparently frequently is misquoting or misunderstanding.

I like it!

Is that the actual look of the show? The characters have a very "Manga" look to them!
Anakin looks pretty cool there!

Seem that he sbars culd use a little work though... Not bold enough and the color seems muted.

Good find Master Jedi!

all I see is the "red-shirt-guy" from star trek : a character doomed-to-die before the end of the episode  :-\
(a new character developed for the clone wars who is NOT present in ROTS..  that can only mean one thing) ;)
"The Star Wars story is really the tragedy of Darth Vader. That is the story.
Once Vader dies, he doesn't come back to life, the Emperor doesn't get cloned, and Luke doesn't get married..."
- George Lucas

Well, it looks like Steve Sansweet has come forth and debunked this rumor of TV movies. I just saw this on the ticker of G4's Attack of the Show.  ::)
