Custom Sidious Soundfont
« on: November 02, 2017, 02:51:49 PM »
Anyone want to try modding a sidious font with this scene as the boot?

YouTube

And make the force ability the emperor laughing

That would be so sick especially with the new korribanth run about to start!

I could make you that for a boot you can add to any sound font if you’d like. It’s not very difficult.

Sorry if this is already posted elsewhere, but any chance you could post a quick write up/tutorial on how to make these boot sounds? Thanks in advance!

Sorry I missed all this!  :)  Been busy updating my older fonts and making new ones... :)

I can always make more boot sounds if need be, but... in all honesty, they are not the hard part of making ANY font.  They are simply sound files of most any type of sound (and length, although it's best if they are ~3-6 seconds), and formatted for 22,050Hz, .WAV, mono, 16 bit -- for Plecter/CF style boards.

I couldn't tell anyone all the other formats for other boards.  I'm actually of the opinion that they should all become STANDARDIZED at one point, but... heheh...

...like THAT will ever happen!

Or... how about boards eventually allow support for *MANY* sound formats (as long as they are not compressed such as .MP3).  THAT would actually be "innovation".

But what do I know...

Thanks! I got my boots to all work but there is a small “pop” at the end of each boot. Is there an easy fix for this?

That will likely be meta-data - the Plecter boards don't rip it out so it just plays it which causes a 'pop' at the end of the sound. Remove the meta-data and you're all good.
