The Pariah - a saber inspired by Asajj Ventress
« on: April 21, 2016, 09:50:14 AM »
Dear folks,

I'm proud to present a current project of a friend of mine and me. It's about our very own designed saber the Pariah, which is inspired by the saber Asajj Ventress wielded during the Clone Wars. Now it's time to show you the very first 3D printed prototype and the blue prints of the second and final prototype before we are going to get one made out of aluminium. The reference for our work was the early render of the Ventress staff by efx.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the first prototype of the Pariah:

We changed a few things between the first and second prototype: First of all we shortened the main body a little. Secondly we changed the angle of the pommel`s extension so that both sides of the double pommel are parallel to each other. And thirdly we made some changes at the internal design by adding a second notch securing both shell type handles.

Blue prints of the second prototype:

Thanks for watching. I'll keep you updated.

Second Prototype arrived. We decided to do just one this time. It's hand painted too. Thanks for watching

I have seen both versions in person, great realization of this saber. Well constructed, I'm very excited seeing this one coming to life soon.

Looks very good, can't wait to see this made out of metal.
One thing that I really admit is that this hilts seem to have the correct/better measurements and are thinner than the FX Sabers.

Hey Saberfolks,

I'm super excited to show the current update of our very own Pariah. Finally we got pictures of the machined aluminium prototype. Enjoy them. There will be more when I have it in my hands:

It's made out of 6061 aluminium. There will be five pairs of the Pariah. Three of them might be sold. Maybe we will be doing more afterwards. Each pair comes painted, fits 7/8 blades and has a coupler, two blade plugs, integrated heat sinks, sound venting, switch and blade retention screw holes and a covertec adapter as well as two covertec wheels.
