Not only is it awesome to see Mark reunited with his trusty V2, but I'm pretty sure that's the best look we've ever gotten at the prop itself. Pretty amazing  :huh:

Cool vid but the weathering looks different on it compared to the stencils for the solos hold run
Especially the emitter face

Yes the bloke who made the stencil says thaf the stencils need updating due to new pics of V. Likewise designs of V2 saber have to be tweaked to be more accurate

Really? I didn't know this what parts of the hilt need tweaked?
Glad I hadn't got round to using the stencils on mine now

I believe the stencils are more screen accurate than current prop accurate.

According to Scott Juarez (Scottjua) who handled the V2 the most accurate V2 is a combo of Solo's Hold and Anakin Starkiller V2's from RPF. He said this on Facebook and/or RPF

The look on Mark Hamill's face is priceless when he's told that this is not a replica but the actual prop he used during ROTJ! He is such a cool guy, you can tell that he really loves this franchise and is a huge fan!

Pretty awesome to see his reaction when putting hands and eyes on it again. I'm sure it brought back vivid memories of filiming.
