Disassembling Parks Ego (maybe)

I got an old hilt from Parks. I don't know if EL or Phase version, but it could be the "Ego" model with a kind of black powder coating on the grip section and on the pommel (as shown in the pictures).

I'd like to tinker with it a bit. Unfortunately I can't get the lower part off. Looks like the whole part would just slide over, but there is nothing moving. I can't see any remaining screw or other fastening.

I think there might be a grub screw or something hidden under the powder coating?

Maybe one of you knows this hilt or even owns one or knows where I can find pictures of it, especially of the end piece and pommel. Unfortunately Google search did not help me here.

Or if you have an idea what I could try to get it off, I would be happy to hear it.
