I think IMO they r even. Anakin only became powerful because of his connection to the dark side. Luke also looked less powerful, but his fighting style was different.

anakin all the way.....he was trained since he was a young boy. luke didnt stat anything until he was already a man. IMO

I'd have to go with Anakin also.  He was pretty much the man in EP III.

Anakin was stronger, but Luke was wiser, when he became Master. I don't like the way, writers describe Luke. After reading the book I think, that Luke is one of the weakest Jedi. But they call him Master. Stupid writers! >:(

always wondered that....if luke was the last jedi.....who gave him the rank of master? did he give himself the rank lol?????

Not EU Luke. YOu are reading about th Yuuzhan Vong wars Knucle, Luke may have started training later but he is awesome beyond all reason in the New Jedi Order, and he definatley deserves the rank of master. He without a doubt in the galaxy became the MOST POWERFUL jedi to date.
