For the uninitiated, the DIYino is an Arduino-compatible programmable FX board. A free open source saber software program is available for it, but I wanted to experiment with writing my own control logic. It was time consuming but rewarding. Once I got the software to perform decently I had to build a hilt worthy of it. I can safely say this is now my favorite saber in my collection. It's incredibly well balanced and easy to wield as well as having all the flexibility that comes with a programmable board inside it. Special thanks to Protonerd (a.k.a. Obi_1) for producing the board and to Neskweek on the Arduino forum for his contributions to the code.
I've got 4 fonts on it right now but the 2GB SD card is only ~15% full. Plenty of room for lots more! I'll probably never stop tinkering with this thing, but I felt it's good enough to show off. I hope you all enjoy and thanks for taking a look.
