Teensy V3 Extension Board
« on: February 24, 2018, 12:02:50 AM »
Many thanks to Profezzorn for letting me post to his forum...

Introducing the new
"Teensy V3 Extension Board"
What it does is it extent all the connections from the V3 teensysaber board and rerouted into a PCB.
Within the PCB, I have include the Battery holder, Speaker, Switches, LED, On/Off SW and soldering pad to the Neopixel connector...
Meaning, no wiring is needed.
Installation is super easy, just solder the Teensy 3.2, V3 board and this V3 Extension board together.
Connect 3 short wire to the blade connector.. That's it.
Here's the illustration of how it looks:

Here's a illustration on a Graflex hilt:

The board will able to fit most tube/Hilt with a diameter of 26mm or more. Total length is only 140mm
It is simple and streamline..

Very nice.

So the aircraft connector attaches to the end of your extension boards? If so, how is the aircraft connector mechanically mounted?

BTW, your link to details doesn't work.

Due to many variation of hilt design it is impossible to create a common mechanical mount...
I just use a GX16 connector as a illustration, you can create your own custom mount to suit your hilt...
