For a long time now, I have struggled to provide an innovative service or product to our beloved saber community. EPlugs and 10W LEDs are nice, but I wanted more.
I think I'm on to something....
Here are teaser pictures of a basic PROTOTYPE of my new
"G-Core". An ArkLight Arsenal Exclusive, the G-Core is a modular saber core that integrates the heatsink, switches, power source, soundboard, speaker, recharge port, and illuminated primary crystal into a single aluminum sled. The aluminum sled is designed to somewhat resemble a cleaner version of the innards of "real lightsaber" that you can display without any unsightly wires or batteries. The final version will be alternatively blackened/weathered and detailed with copper/brass tubing and other bits to make it really “pop”, unlike the bland all-aluminum PROTOTYPE you see below. What's best about the G-Core is I will be offering three versions that are fully TCSS MHS compatible. They will be drop in fits to certain MHS pieces/configuration, and bolt to existing TCSS MHS blade holders with only minor adaptations. The three different styles I will offer are Classic, Clean, and Crazy.
A formal announcement (with pics of final production versions and prices) will be posted in 30 days. Post your thoughts here, but please, no PMs just yet with requests –I’m already backlogged. For now, here are a few pics of a BASIC prototype. You get the idea ;)

“Oh I see what Goodman was thinking…the whole thing slides out in one piece and all the guts are hidden. Neat! No more unsightful batteries and wires!”
“And an integrated crystal? That’s neat. I will need to change the color though for my saber. I hear he will provide a 5mm LED…”
“Oh I see, he recesses the switches on the opposite side of the crystal so it’s hidden from view yet doesn’t fill unnecessary space.”
“And a recharge port in the pommel? Wow, Goodman is so handsome.”
“You know, this G-Core would be neat for ubercustom saber projects, like a 1:1 Mace.”
“Win.”
