Loss of sound in my Mace FX
« on: November 12, 2006, 10:53:08 PM »
recently my Mace ROTS has been giving me trouble with its sound. It's been going out totally at times. At first I thought it was a lose connection to the speaker because it was play sound with the blade was tilted down, which I assume would put more pressure on the contacts but today it was 100% out. I reset the battery pack and got no improvement. It lights up and down just fine but no sound.

Any ideas?

If you have already tried a new set of batteries than you are in the same boat as me.  Luckily for me mine is still under warranty.  I was told they will ship me a new battery pack as soon as Master Replicas can find me one.

I got a Mace from MR and it had no sound. I sent it back and it took MR 2 months to send me a replacement.

MR needs to to do somthing with these Mace FX, with the loss of sound. (I never actully never held one, but i wish i could, but i really not much of a purple guy, i'm more of blue or red guy.)

The one I still have had no sound from the get go.  Master Replica's found me a new batterry pack 3 weeks later.  The same thing happened to one of my Maul Sabers and they got ma a new battery in a week.

I fixed it myself. The problem seems to be that there wasn't enough pressure from the pomel pushing up on the battery pack.

that was an easy fix.....now how about finding the fix to get a "purple" blade insteady of this garbage one they put on it

You know master kolar ; not to change the subject ; the other night I was on my computer and I put in the search luxon lightsabers and it gave me a few web-sites. The point that I'm making on e-bay they had a place that had a mace fx with a purple luxon blade. I did not know that they had purple lux blades. I thought that I would share that.DaJoQuim

excellent point my old friend. one of our members has a mace lux conversion with an actual PURPLE blade. when you see the MR version against a lux.....it almost looks fake. the real purple is beautiful.
