Parks Qui for E. Anderson

Qui-Gon

Around Christmas time this partially converted saber arrived in the mail.  I didn't remember where it came from so I set it aside and figured whoever sent it would eventually contact me.  Turns out I had spoken with it's owner via email a few months earlier.  Well, the way that the conversion was set up would not work, so I completely redid it.  Built a new chassis, a new battery pack and a switch assembly.  He wanted the recharge port to be hidden so it 'hides' inside the pommel which easily screws on and off.  The only thing I did not do was the LED assembly.  I left that as-is (from the original saber smith).  I believe that this saber used to belong to Vortextwist.

4.8V NiMH with hidden 2.1mm recharge/kill

Question... is that a 1 inch blade? Did you bore out the emitter?

Looks like it might be one of his 7/8" blades as he said he didn't mess with the LED assembly...or maybe it was previously bored out?  Certainly doesn't look like a skinny 3/4" blade....Again, NICE!
