I'm in!

This is going to be a lot of fun!

I'll be getting started soon I think I've got an idea going already.

I’m out

Kidding. I have a couple flash unit pieces laying around and two more coming in. This should be fun!

This might get me back into making a few sabers.
I have a pile of random flashguns that came when I bought a box of bosley and praco items for a little yoda years ago. Some of those might be really good bases to work from for this.  :lamp:

I'm in.

First major personal Whoops! moment of the challenge: realising that one of the ideas I was drawing up was essentially Slothfurnace's Derelict but with a non-Graflex emitter. I knew I'd seen it somewhere before!

Back to the drawing board...

Did you do the brass rapier?  I only remember that one, Chris's Serenity with FREAKING DIET COKE CANS, and my piddly stunt Kota... I remember there were a couple more submissions, but I don't remember what they were.

Sounds like that was a legit contest; Diet Coke cans sounds like an interesting medium for saber building...

Does anyone know where to find links to some of the entries - it was way before my time and I'd love to see some of all ya'll old farts previous sabers

Sorry, guys, they were on another forum that's since been shut down.  Some of the other battle royals made their way to here and tcss, but that one mostly stayed in house.  Here is Cannibal869's entry.  The pictures are blurry, but you can still see where he used the pop cans.

Hey Darth Chasm; it’s still there when I looked 10minutes ago... not cheap - but then again I guess none of this is. There is a guy over on TRA selling some vintage flash cells too if anyone else is looking’ (not endorsing, I’m just mentioning what I’ve seen In my online travels tonight)

I got sniped on that one as well.  it's one of my favorite non-canon flashes.
