Hi to all,
Thanks to Gabywan and Master Yoda for the insperation and Kurosawa for the graflex he sold me.
I will attempt to build my own crystal chamber saber with a luxeon V and CF or US soundboard.
I gutted the graflex ESB version of the EL setup

Made a plan for the chasis and a list of parts i think i need to buy to complete this build
-quartz clear cystals (bought on ebay)
-4mm brushed alu tubing
-4mm ABS or styrene sheet for the discs
-transparent blue acrylic sheet
-graflex deluxe socket that includes heatsink
-mylar strip
-kobalt d ring
-luxeon V led cyan
-luxeon 3W driver V2
-buckpuck 700ma 6 wire
-mhs speaker + battery pack
-crystal focus or ultrasound soundboard
If i forgot something or something is not needed please let me know.

-quartz clear cystals (bought on ebay) great election

-luxeon 3W driver V2,if you use CF it is not necessary

you do not forget any led to illuminate the crystals.
you do not forget the blade and his accessories.

I send you a pm regarding the discs and clear blue if you could help me out on that?
As for the leds i will use 1 for each crystal and the blade i dont know yet.
i didnt mention these things because they are pretty obvious ;D

the crystals where a cluster that i broke up,got a lot of them and the big one will be used in the graflex based starkiller lightsaber im planning to build.
hopefully the things i bought will arrive the next week end then i can jump on it and start to build the chasis.

Again, why do you want the 3w driver? You don't need it. The Ultrasound itself drives the LED. And if you get a crystal focus, that also drives the LED.

because i bought a US2.1 soundboard and i didnt really know that you didnt need a leddriver with a US.
its no los because im planning on building a starkiller saber using an FX ANH luke....
i dont want a CF due to the price and because they are hard to come by.
made myself member at plecter though you never know i can snagg one :D
anyway i will make mistakes on this its the first time im building a saber period,only used to modeling and make stormtrooper armor and helmets.

Hi man, the crystals are awesome.. ;)
you will realize an agreeable work. show us many images. Are you going to do 2 chassis? I doubt it, surely you do a few more, this is very addictive and you are always going to want to improve it.
a question ... what is a lightsabers starkiller? :-\
I knew that Starkiller was the first name that Gorge Lucas had for Luke .... and so?

youre right i dont even start building and already im thinling of other sabers to do....adiction yes!

this saber is not like the one from MachinedFX i will use an luke anh fx to do a first build with sound and blade.
if im pleased with it will build it again from a graflex replica again with sound and blade.
afcourse i will show a WIP to you.

Now that I see the images I remember that Jango Fett has done one as that one. He did a good work, surely he will be able to help you.

didnt Jango do a machinedfx one?
if so thats not the same,because the mfx one is build from scratch and this one has graflex parts as the base for the saber.
