Yes, the kill keys can be pretty tight.  But that's a price you have to pay to have it hidden.  Any bigger, and you can't get the pommel on.  Trust me, I went through many different kill key and recharge port designs before arriving at this one.  At one time, the recharge port was just going to be loose and sitting in the pommel with a short length of wire so it could moved out of the way.  I have been told that over time, those 1.3mm ports get a little easier to pull the keys out of - but don't quote me on that, and I make no promises.

I don't use anything as fancy as needle nose pliers - I use my teeth on my saber.   ;D

I was just going to bash mine with a rock.

I have a tube of happich simichrome that I use on my bike. I imagine that would work equally well on a lightsaber as it does on an exhaust can.

I would not recommend brasso. Very liquid and very smelly. It works great on brass, but not so well on aluminum in my experience.
I use Mother's Mag.

I'm glad you are enjoying the saber as it was one of my installs.

I too have a bit of a time trying to get the kill key out.  Also, has anyone had issue with the pommel cap pushing the SD card down?  Everytime I remove my cap the card is hanging out and I'm afraid one of these days its going to fall out and get lost.

thats odd i thought the pomel cap completely cleared the cf sd card? are you sure its not the killkey pressing on the sd?

i also find it hard to remove the sd and bent a few nails trying lol the easiest wat i found to do it with your fingers is to grip it best you can and rotate it slightly while pulling it, other than that id say needle nose pliers are probly the best

unles someone can make an extendable kill key?? radio antenna style  :D

nice review man by the way it looks awesome polished up like that if only it would stay that way eh  :-\

No, its definitely the cap.  The ridge inside is pushing down on the SD card unlocking it so when you remove the cap the card pops up like you meant to remove it.

So I've been looking around a bit, and here's what I've found for polish in Australia.

http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Mothers-Mag-Aluminum-Polish-141g.aspx?pid=1023#Description
Mother's Mag. Lot's of recommendations. I could go pick this up tomorrow, that store is a 30 second walk from my house.

http://www.mirrorfinish.com.au/mirrorfinish-metal-polish-50ml-bottle
Mirror Finish. vvenom has used it on his saber here. The pictures look amazing, this one seems to be online only though.

http://bluemagicusa.com/index.php/blue_magic/products/94/blue_magic_liquid_metal_polish_8_oz/
Blue Magic. Alex's MKVI looks amazing with this too. However this one seems like it's only available in the USA.

So...for convenience, I think I'll go down tomorrow morning and grab some Mother's Mag. Quite a few people have recommended it too, so it should be a really good one.

I hope that has helped some Aussie's looking for a polish for their saber :) I'm sure there are hundreds more, but those are just some that have been mentioned.
